CHUNK!!!! 7.8 lbs. of weight gain in 2 months...May that never happen to me.
How about a pic of me around 4 months?

Thighs run amongst the girls in my family.
The Similac recall has so terribly complicated our lives! As you may recall, we tried to switch her to the Target brand, and it didn't take too well. We went back to Similac powder, and all was right with the world.
Then the recall of powdered formula happened. I mean, I don't know...I just kind of assume that there is a certain number of insects in everything that we ingest.
We switched over to Similac concentrated liquid, and she'd spit up about half the bottle. I decided that maybe we might try Up and Up (Target brand) sensitive. Maybe the gentler formula might sit better with her?
It definitely sat...for days...without coming out. We finally loaded her with prunes and Karo. She started pooping again, then she kind of stopped eating. She'd take 2 oz. here, 2 oz. there. Last night she didn't eat ANYTHING.
I brought it up at our visit today. I mentioned that we'd switched so many times that I'm not sure if it's better to stay the course and let her adjust or to just go back to Similac powder (if we HAVE to pay $80 for 6 small cans, I guess we'll do what we have to do). Our NP said we should probably go back to Similac if she's not responding to this one now that it's been a week.
I got home and looked at her sheet from school, and it looks like she finished 2 whole bottles. We decided we'll give Up and Up a couple more days and see what happens. At least we have the go-ahead to make another switch if we feel that she's still not doing well.
I don't know, though. Maybe a crash diet couldn't hurt.
