My starting weight was 148. I am not sure how the scale at my parents' house would calibrate with the scale at the doctor's office, but whenever I would weigh myself over at my mom's house I would be in the range of 148-149.5. I think the last time I weighed myself was probably between about 16 and 17 weeks. Today I was 153. I am jutting straight out, so it's not so bad. It's not spreading to every part of my body.
My main aversion is chicken...however, my more inconvenient aversion would be my toothpaste. I'm forced to get through it, of course. I used to use Crest, and then that got unbearable. Now I use Arm & Hammer Peroxicare, and I am about to have to switch again mid-tube. Forget my purple Listerine Tooth Defense. It's been awhile since I have been able to use that and not want to hurl.
The first trimester was miserable but definitely could have been worse. It was basically extreme fatigue and nausea but no sickness. Funny, I was able to eat better then than I do now. I was forced to eat so I would feel less sick. I would go into work, sit down and just wait for the day to end. I mean, I would get my work done, and it just so happens that there wasn't a whole lot going on at the time...I would go home and sit on the couch and do nothing. The worst of it was probably from 7 weeks to 10 weeks, and then it tapered off and really got better once second trimester came along.
I really just want a nice beer with alcohol. A martini. Several glasses of wine. Sushi. Filet mignon medium rare. Brie cheese. If only I could have thing things I can't have, then I would be able to eat.

Your first trimester sounds just like mine. There were days I wish I'd just get sick so I'd feel better.
There are days I'd love to just have a sip of a tasty adult beverage.
I hope you find more foods that you can tolerate, that sucks that you can't brush your teeth without feeling ill. Is it just the mint flavored toothpaste?
