If anyone would like 3 days' worth of ovulation tests, let me know. I still have some left over.

I don't think I'll ever use them again. I am sure they work just fine. They just didn't work for us. Ironically, though, the month I got pregnant was the only month I ever used them. I never got a true positive, so I guess I thought that we missed it or something. That led to me being absolutely certain that we'd just have to wait till next month. My tummy started hurting really badly when I was at the lake with my parents and Ali, so I was definitely like, nope, not this time. I think the first night I was back, though, I had a really vivid dream that I was pregnant. For some reason, from that moment on, I just kind of knew. I took the test like 5 days later, and I don't think I would have been surprised either way. That positive popped up immediately, though, before I even had a chance to pull out the instructions so I was absolutely sure what was what.

I think that over those five months I may have taken a total of 3 tests. I didn't take a 2nd, 3rd, 4th to confirm the positive considering false positives really don't happen. The hormone is there or it isn't. I only had one left anyway.

I guess I am 0-for-3, then on maternal instincts. Was completely sure I wasn't pregnant but was, thought it was twins and it wasn't, and thought it was a girl but wasn't. I better beef up!

By the way - pregnancy is a time for hearing and relaying too much information. I guess that it all just becomes so biological and scientific, and you're poked and prodded so much that it all just stops mattering. It's probably also your subconscious way of throwing modesty out the window in preparation for labor and delivery. If you're squirmish about yearly exams, better get over that real quick!

Anyways..baby's still doing well and still not leaving me many options for food. I really want to eat something really big but have no idea what. Maybe something covered in cheese. Oooh, maybe a Philly. That would require getting up off my butt, though, and that probably will not happen.
